Overview

Our Lower Elementary program consists of 1 st through 3 rd grade. In a supportive classroom environment, students transition to a more formal curriculum; they tackle more complex subjects and significantly develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In first and second grade, children are intellectually challenged in new, exciting ways. Our faculty is dedicated to help children become effective, placid problem-solvers, undaunted by difficulty and undismayed by error.

Early Elementary students acquire the building blocks of literacy; they engage in organized reading, spelling, and writing activities. As they develop proficiency, abstract mathematical concepts are introduced, from addition and subtraction to multiplication and division. Students explore and deepen their understanding of the scientific method via exciting hands-on experiments and thought-provoking activities.

We also begin to place a larger focus on STEM to develop technological competence. Our well-rounded curriculum provides a strong foundation of fundamental and connected learning skills from which the children can realize and pursue their curiosities and passions.
