Essie has led an esteemed career centered on enhancing the life opportunities for children through the improvement of their academic instruction. Essie was a vital contributor to the founding principles of Trevose Day, crafting the elementary education program that has enriched many young minds and spirits. She holds an M.A. in Elementary Education and certifications as Superintendent, Principal, Curriculum and Instructional Supervision.
Before joining the Trevose Day team, Essie served in multiple administrative roles in the School District of Philadelphia as well as overseeing schools at the regional level.
